Poland is a well-known country because of its dramatically history, but also because of its fashion.
When we focus on the traditional clothing, we can conclude that Poland had his biggest bloom of traditional clothing in the second part of XIX century. The traditional folk costumes vary by region but are mostly coloured and decored with embroidery. Nowadays, some costumes are sometimes worn for special occasions, like weddings. An example of an historical outfit is the Biłgoraj outfit. All the parts are made of linen. The original hats of the women are called chamelka. Archaic embroidery motifs decorate the dress’s curve and ogee.

After visiting and observing the clothes in Poland, we can give you a few tips when you want to visit Poland.
The polish women like to take care of themselves. If you make an effort to dress yourself up, you will feel comfortable. When you are about to go out, be sure that you take your high heels with you. We recommend to wear a pashmina, it is a versatile piece that will dress up any outfit. Next to this piece of clothing, costume jewellery are also an essential part of an outfit.
Of course, polish men focus also on the fashion aspects. In winter, the men usually wear a pair of boots combined with an authentically suit. It is like they are inspired by the fifties.
Just like all the other countries, Poland organises also a fashion week. The show is held regularly, twice a year in Lodz, and presents the trends for the next half-year’s season. The designers promote what is most fascinating and fresh in Polish fashion. The visitors have the opportunity to buy the original products directly from the different, famous designers.
