Our road trip gradually comes to an end. Our penultimate stopover was Denmark. After visiting the most important cultural hotspots, we finally got the time to observe the fashion in Denmark. Some brands who took our attention were: Day Birger et Mikkelsen, Baum und Pferdgarten, Bruuns Bazaar and Mads Nørgaard Copenhagen.

The last year, the Danish fashion industry is booming like never before. The country organises two annual fashion weeks and international fashion fairs, so we can say that Copenhagen and Denmark are put on the fashion map of Europe.

If you want to know the upcoming summer trend of Denmark, we definitely can say that black is the colour. The start of spring and summer makes a lot of people want to shine with a lot of colours. We can give you some tips to build up a brighter wardrobe for the sunnier months.

First: a colourful handbag is a good addition to your rotation because it allows you to try on a colourful dressing without a huge commitment. An example is the Turkish-meets-Swedish style of Norfolk’s.

Perfume and shoes are also important objects. Choose a perfume that suits you. When you give yourself a perfume, you automatically feel more female. Shoes are one of the items that can make you feel more fancy.

The fashion week takes place at Copenhagen during the months of February and August. It is the biggest of its kind and aims to extend and network the professional Danish fashion industry. The fashion week is organised by the Danish Fashion Institute, a newly founded network that is established by the Danish Fashion Industry. All the designers cultivate their own unique angle on design, innovation and aesthetics. The goal is that all Copenhageners are consumed by style.

Personally speaking, Danish fashion is the most casual, modern and beautiful fashion.
